I'm still thinking about all the fun I had at the Stampin' Up! Convention last week.
The #1 best part was making new friends. Some people might think I was crazy to have signed up to share a house with eight women I had never met before. But it was the greatest experience ever!
Here's the house where we stayed.
These are the ladies I hung out with the most.
Trini, Nicole, me and Mindy lookin' good at Stampin' Up! headquarters..
Here's Janice and Katrina getting ready to go sight-seeing.
They are such great people!
Here's Mindy and Cindy at the Convention.
And Leslie, our 9th person, with Nicole.
Here we are at the Pajama swap. Nicole, Trini, me, Mindy and Pam on Tuesday night . We all wore matching pajamas . That was great fun!
I have to include a picture of Janet. I drove with her and Trini from Sacramento to Salt Lake City. What great company. I'm so glad we became friends!
Here's me at my first Convention on Thursday morning. I ran into the auditorium with my friends Nicole and Mindy. It was very exciting.
And finally here I am with my wonderful upline Mary Fish.
I just adore and respect her so much.
Along with my friends, I took six classes at Convention by some very talented people:
- I am Savvy, taught by Meg Wheeler, Dawn Griffith and
Laura Milligan. I got so many ideas from
this class. I just wanted to run home and do them all.
- I am Reaching out, taught by Emily Montoya. Another awesome class designed to help us
"older people" reach out to the younger generation.
- I am Open for Business, taught by Carrie Cudney. We learned how to be better business women, and how
to perfect our customer service.
- I am doing business My Way, taught by Bonnie Thurber,
Ronda Wade and Tami White.
I think this was my favorite class.
I got ideas I am going to use right away!
- I am Having Fun,
taught by Shannon West. This
was a really fun class. We even got to do some dancing!
- I am Earning an Incentive Trip, taught by Karen Hauley. I was truly
inspired by the people who never expected to earn the incentive trip, but
got it done through solid work. Who knows, maybe I’ll be that person
someday.
