My card is all about bright, sunny summer time fun. I used the Bright Blossoms stamp set using ink colors in Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango and Lucky Limeade.
The Designer Series Paper is from the Summer Smooches collection. I
just love lining up strips of this paper to make a sunny statement of
color and design.
Just a little extra touch of a Designer Button with a quick tie of Baker's Twine

DeleteThis card reflects Summer Sunshine! Love this card. What a great idea to use the various strips of DSP...really adds pizazz!
ReplyDeleteMarian, thanks so much. Yes, sunshine is a good thing.
DeleteYour color choices are great! It just screams summer!

ReplyDeleteSweet sweet sweet! I love the happy theme of your card along with the spring color combo and layers! Thanks for sharing with a new visitor!
ReplyDeleteI have to say I really love how you took the Summer Smooches DSP and went with a softer look. There is still alot of color but I love that you left out the brightness of the Rich Razzleberry... it makes me look at the DSP a little different now because the other was almost too much. I just love the 'quieter' look to this card. It makes me feel relaxed as summer should be in my book:)
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing comment. I agree that this DSP can almost "slam" you down with all it's smoochiness. Going strip by strip kind of tames the smooch so you can just relax and enjoy it. Thanks for sharing!
