Watercolor Pencils and Crayons being discontinued

Due to unforeseen problems with our supplier for Watercolor Wonder Crayons and Watercolor Pencils, Stampin Up! has decided to discontinue these two products.

Watercolor Pencils (item 101879) and Watercolor Wonder Crayons Brights Collection (item 119804) will no longer be available effective immediately.

Now for the good news!

We still have the remaining collections of the Watercolor Wonder Crayons available to order. The Subtles (item 119802), Neutrals (item 119805), and Regals (item 119803) Collections are only available while supplies last.

Get 'em before they're gone!

April's "Best of Butterflies"

Did you know this is Stampin' Up!'s 25th anniversary?  Yep, 25 years. I can't believe Stampin' Up! existed 22 years before I discovered them 3 years ago.

To celebrate, Stampin' Up! is bringing back some of the most popular stamp images and combining them into 12 sets.  They are being released one set per month during 2013. And along with these great classic images, each "Best of" set will include a never-before-seen image! So cool!

Here's the gorgeous April collection of "Best of Butterflies"

Here's a list of the what's been coming out each month:

• January "Best of" Birthday Collection Flyer
• February "Best of" Love Collection Flyer
• March "Best of" Flowers Collection Flyer
• April "Best of" Butterflies Collection Flyer

Some things to remember:

• Previously released stamps are not the same size they originally were.  (Please print and refer to the stamp set flyer for accurate dimensions).
• All Best of stamp sets will include 3-5 images, including a never-before seen image, and will be priced at $14.95.
• While Stampin' Up! is releasing just one Best of stamp set per month (with a new theme each month), all of the Best of sets will be available until March 31, 2014.
• A new flyer will be released every month for each new Best of set.
• All Best of stamp sets are available in Clear-Mount only.

EARN A FREE STAMP SET!  As a special incentive to collect the Best of stamps, starting in February we're including a collector's card and 25-year proof of purchase sticker with every Best of set. Collect six stickers, and send it in to redeem a FREE set of your choice valued up to $14.95!  Free sets must be redeemed no later than April 30, 2014.

Mystery Hostess

I'm really excited about starting a Mystery Hostess event for the month of April.

I feel like it's a way to really appreciate you for being my customer.

I'm so happy to think someone's going to win $25 in Hostess Rewards and it's so easy to do.

Here's how it works

• Order between $20 and $149.99*** during the month of April.  Be sure to use Hostess Code G237WVKR with your online order.

• For every $20 of purchases you make, you will earn a raffle ticket  For example, if you order $100, your name will be in the drawing five times to give you five chances to win!

• If total orders from everyone reaches at least $150, I will draw a raffle ticket on May 1 and the winner will get $25 free hostess rewards!

***If you're ordering $150 or more you will not need to use the Hostess Code because you'll receive hostess benefits on your own. Sorry, no double dipping.

Once you place your order, it will ship directly to you from Stampin' Up! You don't have to wait til the end of the month to get your order.  The minimum shipping charge is $6.95.

Questions? Don't hesitate to shoot me an email and I will do my best to help you.

I'll announce the winner the first week of May.

I'm so excited because everyone has such a great chance to win!

Hugs & blessings,
Angela

It's easy to order MDS or download the 30 day trial version.  Just click here.

Here's more exciting news shared today by the Stampin’ Up! My Digital Studio Team

We’ve been working on some big changes, and we just can’t contain ourselves anymore. So, raise your hands if you want to know what we’ve been up to? (Yes, we can sense your virtual curiosity.)
Alright, here it goes:

1. We’re changing the name of the software to MDS. Now, you might be asking yourself, didn’t it just change to MDS 2 last year? Yep, it sure did.
2. We’re lowering the price! What has been known as MDS 2+ is now $19.95 US/$24.95 CAN and will be called . . . yes, you guessed it, MDS. It’s the same great software and content at a fantastic new price.
3. Coming soon: all of you who have been holding onto the original My Digital Studio software will be able to upgrade for FREE. We’ll let you know as soon as it is available. (Can we get a woot, woot?)

Yep, THAT just happened.
Other stuff you may want to know:

• We will still offer a free 30-day trial version of the MDS software for anyone who had not previously tried the MDS 2 Trial.
• The original My Digital Studio software (not the product line) is going away, including support for it. The free upgrade will be available soon!
• MDS 2 (the software that didn’t have much content) is going away.
• You can still get the software on a disc (item 130647) or as a download (item 130646). Just keep in mind the disc will say MDS 2+ on it because it will take us awhile to switch everything out.

Share your excitement below. (Virtual high-fives all around.)
We understand that when a price changes after you have made a recent purchase it can be frustrating. If you purchased the software at the old price from March 1 to March 17, 2013, the following will be added to your Download Manager by Wednesday, March 20:
MDS 2+ or MDS 2

• Up To Date Planner Template (item133271, retail value $14.95 US/$18.50 CAN)
• Hello There Kit (item 133374, retail value $9.95 US/$12.50 CAN)

Card Class and Sale-a-bration

Sunday Card Class was fun.  We were on a roll making Sale-a-bration cards.  Even with just the three of us...wait four counting Peanut the dog, we had a blast.

Here's Adrienne getting into her projects. I'm so proud of her. She's a beginner stamper, but was a real trooper as I kept pulling out more and more cards for her make.  I originally planned to make 8 cards, but we ended up making 5. We're going to continue with more projects next month when Cheryl has her Private Class.

Here's Cheryl with her dog Peanut.  Cheryl is excited because she just got a Big Shot for her birthday.  I'm delivering it to her today!

We love Peanut hanging out at class with us. She is so incredibly sweet, but her stamping skills still need to be developed.  Ah, just kidding.

If you live locally, please come and join the fun. We meet in Lower Lake, California. Maybe you live around Lake County and want to make a scenic drive to the country. I'd love to see you at class.

I will continue to offer 2 classes in Lower Lake each month.

• Stamping 101 meets the 2nd Saturday of the month from 10am-noon.Fee is $10 or FREE with a minimum $20 order.

• Card Class meets the 3rd Sunday of the month from 1pm-5pm (drop in during those hours, but allow 2 hours to make you projects). Cost is $15 or FREE with a minimum $20 order.

•   Get more information by clicking here.

Here's a few of samples of the cards we made on Sunday.

Such a gorgeous card stamped with the Bloom Marvelous free stamp set from Sale-a-bration. Thnaks to Barb Mullikin for the tutorial.

Another wonderful card using the Sale-bration free stamp set called Patterned Occasions.

A little Easter "Peeps" card using several punches. Thanks to Tami White for the tutorial.
