Hello there

Sorry for my absence!  My brain has been in so many places lately that I haven't posted for a while.

One excuse is that my craft room has been a mess and I've been procrastinating cleaning it up.

The truth is that I had to move a lot of my stuff to the garage because we had a guest staying with us. Actually, the guest was my husband's ex-wife who needed a place to stay. The visit caused a lot of havoc, but now it's over. I still haven't recovered from that even though the guest has departed. Life can sure get crazy! But the trial brought me closer to God!

I'm trying to think what I can share with you. I have actually created lots of cards, but just haven't posted the pictures. Here is the latest card I made using the Happy Watercolor stamp set and Watercolor Wonder DSP. The design is inspired by stampingschool.com.

So now you know I am still alive!

RECIPE:
Stamps: Happy Watercolor
Paper: Crisp Cantaloupe, Whisper White, Watercolor Wonder DSP
Ink: Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Basic Gray
Accessories: Crisp Cantaloupe 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trim, Basic Pearls
Tools: Decorative Dots Embossing Folder (Sale-A-Bration item), Dimensionals, Paper Snips

Even though I've been missing out on blogging, I been doing a lot of thinking about future classes for local folks and beyond. I'm really hooked on stamping and papercrafting.  And I love sharing my enthusiasm with others.

One idea is to start crafting with women in church fellowships. I'm praying about starting a Ladies craft and fellowship group. I'd love to make cards with other ladies and send them out to people needing prayer and encouragement.

I also want to start a club. Yep, club everyone!

Okay, I've got to go for now. It's nice to be here again.

Take care and God bless,
Angela

happy Heart day

I've fallen in love with note cards. Smaller than the regular A2 card, they measure 3 1/2 x 5". Such a sweet size for sharing a little something with someone.

I made 20 of these cards last weekend and then asked my Facebook friends to send me their address via a Facebook message or text so I could send out a card to them.  It was a fun experiment.

Stampin' Up! Supplies:

• Stamps: Tags 4 U
• Ink: Primrose Petals
• Paper: Pink Pirouette, Pool Party, Whisper White, More Amore (clearance rack)
• Accessories: SNAIL Adhesives, Stampin' Dimensinals
• Toosl: Big Shot, Adorning Accents Embossing Folder, Label Bracket Punch

One of my goals this year is to send out more cards to people.  I mean, why do I make them if not to give them away? This week I enjoyed seeing some of my creations displayed on my co-workers file cabinets. It's like seeing a bit of happiness whenever I walk by.

I'll share this card with you today which was already posted on my Facebook page. Again, I'm loving the note card size.

Happy New Year!

So hard to believe it's 2014!  Where does all the time go?

This weekend I'm planning a local class for stampers in my area in Lake County, California.

We're making Valentine's Day treat holders and cards!

Here's one of the cards we're making using the Envelope Punch Board.  The design is inspired by Stamping School.

The new 2014 Occasions Catalog comes out tomorrow!  You're going to love all the fresh and trendy products.

Don't forget to check out the WEEKLY DEALS.  They start each Tuesday and end Monday.

There are also limited time VALENTINE PRODUCTS available now.

Hope all is well with all of you, my stamping friends. I'm looking forward to another great year of opportunities to make new stamping friends and hang out with the old ones too.

God bless,

Angela
