Kindred Stampers who love to share

Hello Friends and fellow Kindred Stampers,

Today I'm going to indulge in a little bit of writing to share my thoughts about the events of the day.

Today I drove three hours from Lower Lake to Fairfield with the objective of meeting up with my friends Maggie and Shari. The drive should have only taken two hours, but as I was coming from the rural land of Lake County, I unfortunately bumped into some yucky Bay Area traffic on Highway 80 and got lost what seems over and over again trying to find Maggie's house.

Eventually I made it to my destination, and right away I was in the midst of crafting bliss.  Maggie shared her great stamping room and had projects lined up for us to do.  But first I got fed some spicy food she had made for us and we talked in the kitchen for a good amount of time.  Yes, we were three like-minded Kindred Stampers with lots to share and we hadn't even started crafting yet!

It's an interesting thing. To drive three hours to spend several more hours doing heaven knows what. It didn't matter. We never stopped sharing, that's all I know.

It's hard to explain why we are so crazy to do this kind of thing. But it is a common love, I guess, to sit around on a holiday weekend and talk about many things, not just about stamping, and to enjoy the company knowing we have this funny thing in common which is yes, stamping...okay, yes, Stampin' Up! style stamping.

Here we are together.
Our one picture shot at Maggie's table sharing our creations and wanting others to see that we are having fun.  Yep, it was fun!

Next time I'll share more cards.

Hugs and blessings,
Angela

  1. Wonderful! Funny too... I had so much fun hanging out with you and Shari today. You are absolutely right though about what we do to stamp together.
