Happy 4th and here's July classes
Today I shared my cards at a local craft fair and got to meet lots of nice people. Hello to you all!
Thank you to all of you who signed up for my newsletter. I added an event on my Facebook page for next week's card class. I hope you can come!!
Here's a sneak peek at a couple of the cards we are making.
This card uses the new Flower Patch photopolymer stamp set. It is inspired by stampingschool.com. The card stands up with some special folds we will be doing in class.
You can see here how the card is folded to stand up.
Here is another card we making using the Sweet Stuff stamp set and the Coastal Cabana and Daffodil Delight ink and paper. We will be using the new Blendabilities to color the images.
I am actually making a ton of these cards for swapping at the Stampin' Up! Convention coming up later this month. I'll be leaving for Salt Lake City on July 16 for my third convention. Whew hoo! I can't wait!
If you are one of my local peeps, I hope you can come! Just send me an email, phone, text or Facebook me.
Hugs, Angela

It's my birthday today!
Hi friends,
It's my birthday today. And because it's my birthday, I thought I would indulge in some self-revealing thoughts.
I have a tradition of writing in my journal on my birthday. It's like New Year's Day all over again. A place to start fresh.
In looking back at the last few years, I'm amazed at how much I enjoy my "new" hobby of stamping. I've always loved doing creative things. For years I studied vocal music, enjoying the discipline of developing my voice and striving for perfection. It was a great outlet for getting out of the mediocrity of the day.
Now my creative outlet is stamping. I'm really into it and love sharing it with others. I think there is a real place for hospitality and giving with this art, just as music provided a way to move and touch people.
So those are my thoughts. Just felt like sharing.
Here's something else I'm sharing. A couple more cards we made on Saturday.
I'm offering another opportunity to make them on Saturday for Coffee & Card. We're meeting at Lower Lake Coffee at 10am. Wish you could come!
Blessings to you.
Hugs, Angela

So glad it's Saturday!
Today is my monthly card class. I'm really excited about getting together with a friendly group of ladies. It's so much more than about making cards for me. It's about giving and getting a group of ladies together for a special time together.
Here's are couple of the cards we will be making.

If you live in the area, I'd love you to join us for class. My basic card class meets the 1st Saturday of the month in Lower Lake, California.
Have a great day!

Kindred Stampers who love to share
Hello Friends and fellow Kindred Stampers,
Today I'm going to indulge in a little bit of writing to share my thoughts about the events of the day.
Today I drove three hours from Lower Lake to Fairfield with the objective of meeting up with my friends Maggie and Shari. The drive should have only taken two hours, but as I was coming from the rural land of Lake County, I unfortunately bumped into some yucky Bay Area traffic on Highway 80 and got lost what seems over and over again trying to find Maggie's house.
Eventually I made it to my destination, and right away I was in the midst of crafting bliss. Maggie shared her great stamping room and had projects lined up for us to do. But first I got fed some spicy food she had made for us and we talked in the kitchen for a good amount of time. Yes, we were three like-minded Kindred Stampers with lots to share and we hadn't even started crafting yet!
It's an interesting thing. To drive three hours to spend several more hours doing heaven knows what. It didn't matter. We never stopped sharing, that's all I know.
It's hard to explain why we are so crazy to do this kind of thing. But it is a common love, I guess, to sit around on a holiday weekend and talk about many things, not just about stamping, and to enjoy the company knowing we have this funny thing in common which is yes, stamping...okay, yes, Stampin' Up! style stamping.
Here we are together.
Our one picture shot at Maggie's table sharing our creations and wanting others to see that we are having fun. Yep, it was fun!
Next time I'll share more cards.
Hugs and blessings,
Angela

I found my key!
I announced at my monthly Card Class a few weeks ago that I lost my key to the Methodist Church. I was graciously given a key to the church facility to have classes, but then I lost the key.
Last week I found the key, which turns out I had all along, but when I tried it, it didn't work. This weekend I tried the key again, jiggling it a little, and it worked! I'm so happy.
I really want to start having classes at the church because there is more space for everyone to come and feel comfortable.
On another note, I'm going to challenge myself to blog everyday for the next 30 days. So get ready to see some pretty goofy blogs because I'm going to just share whatever is going on for me that day.
Of course, I'll share my card creations too and talk about my favorite Stampin' Up! products which is a very long list especially now that the new catalog is out!!!
I confess. I love SU products. I get excited when I see so much awesome stuff. I want it all!
Anyway, the count down has started because the new catalog will be revealed online on June 1. If you are local and want a catalog sooner than that, contact me! I'll hook you up.
So that's my share for today. No cards. Just a key. But it's a wonderful key that will unlock great times if you want to join me for some great stamping fun!
My next local card classes will be on Sunday, May 25th and Saturday June 7. Mark your calendar now. I have so many great things I'm planning to share. Stay tuned and I will let you know more very soon!
God bless and happy stamping,
Angela

Project Life by Stampin' Up!
Get ready for a scrapbooking revolution with Project Life! It helps busy people (so basically all of us) document life using photos and journaling in a quick, simple, and fabulous way. We've partnered with Becky Higgins, creator of Project Life, to offer a complete line of elite products.
Becky explains, "It's called Project LIFE because it's about YOUR LIFE. Whatever your life is. Whatever your stage of life. Whatever your family circumstances. Whatever your lifestyle. Project Life is designed to help anyone and everyone get their pictures into a book."
In a nutshell, it's all about spending more time making memories and less time scrapbooking them.
You will be able to order a
selection of Project Life products starting May 1. And with the launch
of Stampin' Up!'s new annual catalog on June 2, you'll be able to buy
from the complete line of Project Life products!
- Coordination, coordination, coordination. You know Stampin' Up! does it best, and the Project Life line is no exception.
- Our products center on things that matter most-weddings, babies, kids, and the everyday moments of getting together with your favorite people-all things that need to be remembered.
- Our card collections come without rounded corners so you can decide if you want to keep them that way (and match the corners of your photos as they come) or use our Project Life Corner Punch to round them out.
- Our card collections come packaged in an exclusive storage system that holds all your Project Life supplies on your desk: cards, journaling pens, photos, accessory packs, stamp sets, and more.
