Merry Christmas Frosty Friends
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Today I'm sharing a card we made it at a class this month.
I don't think I posted it yet, but I could be wrong.
Oh for a better memory...
I fortunately can remember where I got inspiration! I got it from Stamping School who got their inspiration from the Holiday catalog. Oh how we love to copy.
The card stock is Pool Party embossed with the Delicate Designs Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
The cute group of snowmen was stamped using the Frost Friends Wood-Mount Stamp stamped on Naturals White Card Stock.
By the way, I really enjoy using the Naturals White Card Stock and it's a good deal at 40 sheets for $7.50.
I hear it's going to rain tomorrow. I say bring it on.
I'm going to keep this post short. I've had a long day.
Hope you got your order in for the Online Extravaganza because the order ends tomorrow!
Questions? Call me at (707) 972-1822 or email me at angela@kindredstampers.com.
Hugs & blessings,
Angela

Greetings of the Season Cards #3 & #4
I finished all of my Greetings of the Season cards last night. They were fun and super easy to make.
I made them while watching Damages with Glenn Close. I subscribe to Netflix online and usually end up watching mindless shows while I stamp. I also watch a lot of YouTube tutorials on stamping, of course, and sometimes I'll watch other kinds of YouTubes. I love YouTube!
Anyway, back to my cards. Here is #3
Elegant but simple.
You can make all four Greetings of the Season cards using the Greetings of the Season Tutorial that's FREE when you order $50 or more from my Online Store.
Save time. Save money.
This tutorial gives you step-by-step dimensions for cutting each piece of paper and ribbon, it tells you what ink and adhesives to use, and shows you how to layer each piece so you will end up with perfect results. There are tons of pictures too. It's like taking a class without leaving the comfort of your own home.
We all have busy schedules. Get this tutorial and enjoy making beautiful cards to share with your loved ones.
Whether you order online, or by email to me, I will send you this tutorial via a PDF email when you order $50 or more. It's that easy.
Here are all four cards that I made this weekend.
Here is a complete list of products I used. You may already have a lot of the basic tools for card making, or add what you don't have to your WISH LIST.
If you are just starting out, remember that when you place an order for $150 or more, you will earn STAMPING REWARDS.
You also have the option to sign up as a Hobby Demonstrator and pay only $99 for $125 worth of product AND get a set of FREE Ink pads. This is a SUPER deal and so easy to do. Click HERE to join NOW and be part of a bigger family of stampers.
SNEAK PEEK . . . SNEAK PEEK
Here's a sneak peek at a card I'm working on today.
I embossed the angel from the Rejoicing with You stamp set with gold embossing powder. I first cut my Whisper White card stock using the Apothecary Accents Framelits and then used the coordinating Festive Paper-Piercing Pack to add a simple touch.
I'll share more later.
And one last picture of my cat Fluffy hanging out with me on my crafting table.
I hate disturbing her so I just work around her when I need to use the Big Shot.
Got to go. Thanks for stopping by and please feel free to leave a comment. I'd love to know who you are.

Greetings of the Season Card #2
Here is the card #2 that I made yesterday using the Greetings of the Season tutorial.
I used my favorite Ornament Keepsakes Stamp Set, Greetings of the Season Stamp Set, the Holiday Ornaments Framelits Dies and Candlelight Christmas Designer Series Paper.
Here are cards #1 & #2
The more I use these products, the more I appreciate them.
The framlelits are such an economical way to "punch out" the images and don't forget you save 15% when you buy the bundle. Perhaps it seems like a big investment to buy all these products, but everything coordinates so well together, it's all worth it. I personally hate wasting time try to match everything myself and I usually end up wasting a lot of product.
The Ornament Keepsakes set is the best and makes awesome cards!
I also love using tutorials for saving both time and money. That's why I'm offering the Greetings of the Season Tutorial with any order placed with me for $50 or more.
The Greetings of the Season Tutorial gives step by step instructions with plenty of pictures to make these four cards using the Ornaments Keepsake Bundle.
The tutorial gives you step-by-step dimensions for cutting each piece of paper and ribbon, it tells you what ink and adhesives to use, and shows you how to layer each piece so you end up with perfect results. There are tons of pictures to follow making it fun and easy to make these wonderful cards. It's like taking a class without leaving the comfort of your own home.
Whether you order at least $50 online, or by email to me, I will send you this tutorial via a PDF email. It's that easy.
Speaking of tutorials.
I'm going to give a plug for one of my best kept secrets. It's Stamping School. I've been a subscriber to Stamping School for over a year and use it all the time.
It may seem strange that I am plugging another Stampin' Up Demonstrator's service, but if I can help you find resources to enhance your stamping experience than I'm fulfilling my mission.
So here is the offer from Stamping School - www.stampingschool.com.
Hugs & blessings,
Angela

Greetings of the Season Card #1
I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. I cooked my first Butterball turkey basted with coconut oil. In my home we use coconut oil for everything due to the health benefits but that's a whole other topic which I won't get into here.
Now that Thanksgiving is all about leftovers, it's time to get into high gear for Christmas. For us stampers that means Christmas cards, Christmas tags, 3D gifts and paper ornaments. So much fun!!!
Here is a card I finished today.
I am offering a tutorial on how to make this card with any order placed with me for $50 or more.

Back to a little bit of Thanksgiving memories. Here I am giving my kitty Timmy his Thanksgiving feast. It only seemed fitting for him to get his turkey too.
Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone
I want to wish everyone a Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving Day.
In celebration of the day, I'm going to start a new trend with my blogging. Ever since I discovered stamping, I have zealously scouted out the internet for YouTube tutorials and instructional blogs. I continue to be in awe of the massive number of stampers who share their beautiful creations with the world.
I have literally "gobbled up" their ideas like a big fat turkey and used their ideas as inspiration for making my own cards.
For example, here is a Thanksgiving card I made inspired by Dawn Olchefske using the French Foliage stamp set.
It's a great card and really easy to make. I followed Dawn's instructions on her YouTube, but changed my card up a little by running the back panel through my Big Shot using the Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
But that's the beauty of creativity, isn't it? We make our creations our own by just the simple fact that it came from our own heart and hands.
My new and improved approach for sharing on my blog is to make sure I give credit where it is due and let you know where my inspiration comes from. Sure, I would love you to click on my Shop Now link and buy all the products you need from me.
But I'm just a little guy in a big world wanting to share a little of me to you. This is my way of truly sharing where I get my inspiration and possibly lead you to getting inspired too. Bottom line. I love sharing my love of stamping.
So thanks Dawn for the wonderful idea. Here is your video that I used to make my card:

Christmas cards galore!
Hi Kindred Stampers,
I just had to step-up my Pals Blog Hop card from last week by adding a stamped ornament.
Ta da! What a difference just adding one extra element can make. The Ornament Keepsake is stamped in Summer Starfruit and cut with the Holiday Ornaments Framelit Die. Really easy!
I just had to step-up my Pals Blog Hop card from last week by adding a stamped ornament.
Here is the original card
I made several other cards using the same format. These are all made using the Ornament Keepsakes Bundle and Candlelight Specialty DSP. The sentiments are stamped with the Greetings of the Season stamp set (also available in clear mount). Still don't have a Big Shot? Don't worry. Just add color. Here I used a variety of cardstock colors including Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso. These colors coordinate so well with the Candlelight Specialty DSP. But isn't that's the beauty of using Stampin' Up! products. Personally speaking, my time is precious so having the colors match up with the DSP works out perfect for me. Send me an email if you'd like the measurements for these cards. They are so easy to make! |

the Stampin' Pretty Pals are sharing some fabulous cards and projects
showcasing our must have wish list items! You've probably
hopped over from Nancy Gleason's My Stampin' Space.

My Winter Wishes card is all about being simple and easy to duplicate.
Here I'm showcasing the must have Candlelight Christmas Designer Series Paper, but you can easily use any paper you have on hand. Yep, it's time to go through your stash and start using it up!
I used gumball green for the background layer and stamped the sentiment on Very Vanilla card stock using the Greetings of the Seasons stamp set.
I could easily make 50 cards similar to this one using different papers from my stash. There are so many gorgeous designs in the Candlelight series, I can't wait to use them all!
Wishing you all ... a Merry Christmas.
Hugs & blessings, Angela

Thanksgiving with a French flair
I made these cards for friends and family using the French Foliage stamp set. Somehow it doesn't seem right to make Thanksgiving cards using a french background. Maybe nobody will notice. Please pass the turkey and gravy, thank you..
There's a little bit of Champagne Mist shimmer paint (oops, more French) added here and there. I just recently started using shimmer paint. It's interesting stuff. I stamped the oak leaf in Early Espresso, then dabbed on Champagne Mist before cutting it out. Believe me, it glimmers!
I'm hoping all your holiday card projects are going well!
